Reports Reveal Israel Deployed Secret Elite Forces in Azerbaijan to Counter Iranian Activities

Informed sources have revealed that Israel secretly deployed elite military and intelligence units in Azerbaijan. This action was part of a network of covert sites spread across the region, aimed at supporting operations against Tehran. Special commando units reportedly carried out intelligence gathering missions and operated drones from these locations, including one approximately 96 kilometers from Tabriz in northwestern Iran. The strategic positioning of these forces provided Israel with a vital vantage point for monitoring northern Iran during the conflict. This deployment also formed an integral part of a broader network of clandestine military sites maintained throughout the Middle East, affording Israel extensive operational influence. These secretive developments highlight the potential role of some of Iran's neighbors, likely with or without official consent, in facilitating operations against Tehran. Conversely, Azerbaijan has vehemently denied these claims. An official from its embassy in Washington stated that the country "strongly rejects the baseless allegations regarding the use of Azerbaijani territory for operations against third countries."
