Qatar Energy: 13 Fatalities in Ras Laffan Plant Explosion

Qatar Energy announced today, Monday, the death of thirteen people following an explosion incident at one of its plants in the Ras Laffan area. The company confirmed in a statement that gas facilities and Ras Laffan Port were unaffected by the incident, noting that liquefied natural gas (LNG) export operations continue normally without any interruption.
