Qatar Affirms Efforts to Reopen Strait of Hormuz Through Regional Cooperation
The Spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majed Al-Ansari, affirmed today that discussions continue with Oman and Pakistan regarding regional de-escalation measures. Al-Ansari clarified that an unresolved Strait of Hormuz crisis would lead to escalation, harming all parties. He emphasized that his country is working with partners to achieve a peaceful solution and ensure the Strait's reopening. Doha also cautioned against Israel exploiting the current regional escalation to impose new realities, specifically in Palestinian, Lebanese, and Syrian territories.
