Pezeshkian warns against the consequences of ongoing US sanctions globally
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed during statements made on Friday that American punitive measures continue to create severe crises for the country and the international community as a whole. He explained that these sanctions exceed humanitarian standards, pointing out that the recent attacks during the past months were characterized by an unjustified and inhumane nature. Pezeshkian indicated that Tehran never aimed to acquire a nuclear arsenal, describing the propaganda campaigns directed against his country as sheer lies. He concluded by emphasizing his country's permanent openness to the negotiation path, considering that Washington's bets on imposing will by force are doomed to failure, and stressing that dialogue remains the best choice for the American administration.
