Oil Ministry Announces Resumption of Exports from All Fields Within Days, Opens Bids for Global Companies

 Oil Ministry spokesperson Sahib Bazoon confirmed that all oil fields are ready to resume export operations within the next few days, noting that the ministry is in contact with major global companies and tankers for contracting. He explained that accelerating exports aims to enhance market stability and generate additional state revenue, while also securing the gas needed to operate power plants. This coincides with Basra ports receiving the first giant tanker following the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz in 2026.
