Ministry of Labor Initiates Disbursal of Insured Workers' August Pensions

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced on Thursday the commencement of disbursing pensions for insured retired workers for August 2026 across Baghdad and all governorates. Kholoud Hairan Finjan, Director General of the Workers' Pension and Social Security Department, stated that the department has completed all necessary procedures related to the disbursement. She noted that the process of releasing pensions officially began on Thursday afternoon, July 30, 2026. Finjan urged all eligible retirees to visit the approved outlets to collect their financial entitlements.
