Ministry of Health Reports 1876 Diverse Injuries During Eid al-Adha Holiday

The Ministry of Health has revealed the registration of 1876 diverse injury cases across all governorates during the blessed Eid al-Adha holiday. Saif al-Badr, the official spokesperson for the Ministry, clarified that these injuries were distributed across several main categories. Traffic accidents accounted for the largest share with 1324 cases. The statistics also included 120 poisoning cases, 122 suffocation cases, in addition to 18 drowning incidents and 169 burn cases. Furthermore, the Ministry recorded 28 injuries resulting from dangerous children's toys (pellets), alongside 55 gunshot wound cases. Al-Badr affirmed that the country's health institutions effectively managed all cases according to approved emergency plans, noting that medical and nursing staff continued to operate around the clock to ensure the provision of necessary healthcare services to citizens.
