Masrour Barzani Condemns Attacks on Kurdistan, Urges International Partners to Provide Defense Equipment

 The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), Masrour Barzani, issued a strong statement condemning the recent attacks on the region, which resulted in five deaths and several injuries. Barzani clarified that the KRG is not a party to the ongoing conflict, asserting that these strikes aim to undermine the truce and damage the region's vital energy infrastructure.

Barzani reiterated his call for the Federal Government to take practical steps to end these attacks. Furthermore, he urged international partners to provide the necessary defense equipment to protect Kurdish citizens and energy assets from persistent threats, emphasizing that these escalations during ongoing negotiations pose a serious risk to regional stability.
