Kurdistan Parliament Presidency Denies Connection to Statement on Tomorrow's Parliamentary Session

The Presidency of the Kurdistan Parliament's Diwan denied any association with a statement published on the official parliament website calling for a session tomorrow, affirming that no individual or entity was authorized to issue such a statement. Nerdalan Muhammad Sarsabi, head of the Kurdistan Parliament Diwan, clarified that the statement bearing the Diwan's name is unrelated to it, and no one was commissioned for this matter. He pointed out that the legal quorum for holding the parliamentary session, which is 51 members, has not yet been officially met, with only 43 members officially reported. He confirmed that the Diwan continues its regular work and that the presidency will be present in the parliament hall once the required quorum is achieved.
