 The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) categorically denied today, Friday, April 24, 2026, allegations from Iranian institutions claiming the existence of foreign intelligence training centers within the region. In a statement, the Department of Foreign Relations expressed deep concern over these "baseless accusations," reaffirming the region's commitment to the Iraqi constitution and the principles of good neighborliness. Erbil also called upon the federal government in Baghdad and the international community to fulfill their responsibilities in protecting the region's sovereignty and halting violations, emphasizing that Kurdistan remains a factor for stability and neutrality in the region.
