Katz threatens to strike Iranian energy facilities, vowing to return Tehran to Stone Age
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that Tel Aviv is completely prepared to launch a comprehensive military assault against Iran, threatening to strike energy facilities and essential infrastructure with full force if clashes resume between both sides, and warning of plunging the country into the dark ages and the Stone Age while setting it back forty years. Speaking in an interview on Israeli Channel 14, Katz stated that Israel and the United States conducted strikes that dropped roughly thirty-five thousand bombs targeting locations inside Iranian territory. The defense minister pointed out that overthrowing the Islamic Republic would pave the way for massive regional transformations, including the establishment of open relations between regional states and Israel, which he emphasized would stand directly at the center of these developments. These warnings follow recent remarks delivered by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on October fifth, in which he affirmed that his government continues to exert extensive efforts to broaden peace in the region with strength and determination. Netanyahu also addressed the Iranian nuclear program, arguing that its ultimate purpose was the destruction of Israel and surrounding it with a ring of fire.
