Iraq Records High Levels of Oil Exports and Achieves Significant Revenues Over Two Months

The Ministry of Oil announced on Tuesday that it exported over 32 million barrels of crude oil, generating revenues exceeding 2.3 billion US dollars, during the months of May and June. Statistics released by the Iraq Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) revealed that the total oil exports and revenues for the specified period, which included crude oil and condensates, amounted to precisely 32,114,677 barrels. These exports resulted in total revenues of 2,335,537,399 dollars. The statistical data further detailed the quantities of crude oil exported during the same period; Basra oil accounted for 20,238,836 barrels. In contrast, quantities exported from the Kurdistan Region's oil via Turkey's Ceyhan port reached 1,564,625 barrels. Meanwhile, Kirkuk's oil exports through the same Turkish port totaled 10,311,216 barrels.
