Iranian President Pezeshkian: People Will Keep Flag Raised, Never Dropping

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian affirmed Saturday that his nation's people will keep the flag raised, ensuring it never falls. In a post, Pezeshkian stated: "With sorrowful hearts and resolute hopes, the great Iranian people will prove the flag, which the Leader strove to keep raised, will absolutely never fall." The President's remarks coincided with the official start of former Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's funeral on Saturday. Thousands of Iranians gathered at Tehran's Grand Musalla to participate before its scheduled time. The main square of the complex filled with crowds amid extensive traffic restrictions in Tehran. Authorities had unveiled Khamenei's coffin in the Musalla on Friday, preparing for the rites.
