Iranian Official Warns Washington of 'Bigger Miscalculation' in Hormuz Strait

A senior Iranian official warned that the United States is making a "bigger miscalculation" in the Strait of Hormuz, following what he described as decades of past "intelligence failures." In a post on the "X" platform, the Iranian official asserted that Washington has long miscalculated due to its intelligence shortcomings, citing the war against Iran as an an example. He added that "a bigger miscalculation is now occurring in the Strait of Hormuz." He emphasized, "Worse than fake news is fake intelligence. Be careful." The official concluded his statement by affirming, "God is great, greater than any power on Earth, and we trust in God." This warning followed previous statements by former U.S. President Donald Trump, who had described the American naval blockade on Iran as a "wall of steel," asserting that "Iran can do nothing about it." Trump claimed that Iran lacks naval and air power, its remaining soldiers are unpaid, and the Revolutionary Guard forces are suffering immense destruction and fleeing the field, indicating that the Iranian leadership is in a state of confusion and uncertainty.
