Iranian Headquarters Blames Washington and Allied Nations for Security Tensions and Expanding Regional Conflict

Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters on Monday unequivocally rejected any U.S. intervention in the Strait of Hormuz. It cautioned that "U.S. attempts to manage the strait have gravely jeopardized regional security, international trade, and oil tanker transit." Further, it noted "collaboration by certain regional countries has heightened the risk of conflict escalation." Reaffirming its position, the headquarters vowed "never to permit U.S. intervention in Hormuz," holding "Washington and its allied criminal military responsible for insecurity and war expansion." It also warned regional leaders that "any cooperation with the U.S. or support for Israel will be considered an act of war against Iran's sovereignty and national security."
