Iran Warns: No Passage Through Hormuz for Ships of Companies or Nations Benefiting from Frozen Iranian Assets

Iran's Central Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters announced today, Tuesday, that vessels belonging to any company or country benefiting from funds originating from frozen Iranian assets will not be granted permission to transit through the Strait of Hormuz. This statement came from the Headquarters' spokesperson, Ibrahim Zolfaqari, who clarified that this warning is a response to the US President's declaration, within the framework of his aggressive policies, to compensate ships damaged during the imposed war on the Islamic Republic of Iran using those very assets. Zolfaqari indicated that the alleged damages resulted from insecurity caused by the US military and the vessels' violation by traversing an illegal and unsafe route south of the strait. The spokesperson further added, warning the US President of the repercussions of this unlawful measure, that the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will not, from now on, permit any vessel belonging to companies or nations that accept the US administration's proposal and benefit from the frozen assets under this pretext, to pass through the strategic waterway.
