Iran Affirms Nuclear Commitments, Denies Covert Activity Claims
The spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ismail Baghaei, stated that repeated American attacks and threats against Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities constitute a "blatant violation" of the United Nations Charter, international law, and resolutions of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Baghaei added, via his account on the "X" platform, that these threats "reveal the inherent hostility of the United States towards Iran's scientific and technological progress." He considered Washington to be using its claims about certain Iranian sites as a pretext to justify "aggression, destruction, and sabotage." The spokesman affirmed that all Iranian nuclear activities have been fully declared to the IAEA, in accordance with Tehran's commitments under safeguard agreements, emphasizing that the "Jabal Al-Fa'as" area does not host any nuclear activities.
