Gold prices surge in local markets amid currency rise

Local markets witnessed new increases in the prices of the yellow metal during Tuesday's trading inside goldsmith shops across various Iraqi provinces. The price of 21-carat Gulf goldmith مثقال recorded price levels ranging between 930 thousand and 940 thousand dinars. In contrast, the selling price of Iraqi goldmith مثقال within the same transactions ranged between 900 thousand and 910 thousand Iraqi dinars.
