General Land Transport Company Commences Moving 33,000 Tons of Local Wheat on Two Routes

The General Company for Land Transport commenced on Tuesday transporting 33,000 tons of local wheat across two main axes. Mortada Al-Shahmani, Director-General of the company, stated that the company's fleet, a formation within the Ministry of Transport, has effectively initiated these transfer operations. The operations involved moving 29,000 tons from the Ramadi axis, specifically from Anu warehouses to Khan Dhari, and an additional 4,000 tons from the Salah al-Din axis, from Baiji to Khan Dhari and Bani Saad warehouses. The land fleet's trucks have fully mobilized their capacities to support ration card transfers for the Ministry of Trade. These internal transfers adhere to the directives of Minister of Transport, Wahab Al-Hasani, and the diligent oversight of Director-General Mortada Karim Al-Shahmani, who personally supervises loading and unloading at all Ministry of Trade warehouses throughout Iraq.
