France: Fuel Supplies Secured for Summer, Cost Remains a Concern

French Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot affirmed that France faces no concerns regarding fuel supplies during the summer season, despite the approaching busy travel period. In statements to French media on Friday, Tabarot clarified that the country does not anticipate significant issues in providing jet fuel or gasoline for road transport. However, he noted that rising costs, influenced by the war in Iran, remain a primary concern. He highlighted that "the issue of cost, of course, remains," emphasizing the impact of increasing energy and fuel prices on consumers and transport companies.
