Finance Minister Emphasizes Completing Technical Requirements for 2027 General Budget Preparation

Finance Minister, Faleh Sari, on Monday directed the completion of technical requirements for preparing the 2027 general budget. This came during his inspection of the Budget Department's sections, where he reviewed the progress of work on preparing the program and performance budget project. Sari met with the work teams involved in the project, listening to an explanation about the completed stages and the technical requirements necessary to finalize the preparation. He emphasized the importance of integrated efforts and intensified work in the upcoming phase. The Minister stressed the continuation of communication and coordination with all ministries and government institutions to organize and audit financial data and provide necessary information, ensuring the budget project is prepared accurately and efficiently. He affirmed that the transition to a program and performance budget requires joint work and continuous coordination among relevant parties to link resource allocation with programs, objectives, and results.
