Executive Steps to Connect Palestinian Residents to Electronic Payment System via SuperQi

Joint coordination between the Central Bank of Iraq, Qi Company, and the Embassy of the State of Palestine resulted in adopting a mechanism to activate digital wallet accounts for members of the Palestinian community via the "SuperQi" application. This initiative is considered a strategic step toward transitioning to a cashless economy by granting resident segments access to official financial services and mobile payments. The decision aims to facilitate bill payments, mobile recharges, and money transfers with high flexibility, thereby expanding the capacity of the national digital payment system and supporting the Central Bank's efforts to build a transparent and integrated digital market serving all residents and operators in the Iraqi market.
