Central Bank Increases Dollar Allowance for Travelers to 3000

The Central Bank announced today, Monday, an increase in the dollar allowance for travelers to 3000 dollars each time. This announcement was made during the sixteenth session of the Ministerial Economic Council, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Tamim, held at the council building with the presence of the Ministers of Finance, Planning, Digital Economy and Governance, Trade, Agriculture, Industry, Tourism and Antiquities, as well as the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, the Central Bank Governor, the Chairman of the National Investment Commission, the Chairman of the Securities Commission, the Executive Director of the Iraq Development Fund, and the Legal Advisor to the Prime Minister. The council discussed the agenda items and made the necessary decisions, including deliberations on maintaining the exchange rate of the dollar. Central Bank Governor Nizar Nasser Hussein pointed out the increase of the travelers' dollar allowance to 3000 dollars each time.
