Brussels demands accountability for settlers attacking European diplomats in West Bank

A spokesperson for the EU foreign policy chief stated that the bloc takes into account condemnations issued by Israeli officials, emphasizing the necessity of holding the perpetrators accountable. Meanwhile, Israeli police announced an official investigation following circulating video footage documented by Israeli Army Radio showing settlers attacking diplomatic vehicles. The police stated they forwarded the report to the Foreign Ministry to gather evidence and identify those involved for prosecution. Israeli Army Radio earlier reported that the assault occurred Saturday evening in Taybeh village, east of Ramallah.
