British Maritime Authority: Oil Tanker Struck by Unknown Projectile Off Oman Coast

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported Saturday an oil tanker was hit by an unknown projectile. The impact damaged the port side of the vessel's bow off Oman's coast. The authority stated the incident occurred Friday, six nautical miles east of Oman, confirming crew safety and no reported environmental fallout. The tanker continues its voyage to the next port.
