Araghchi Reaffirms Iran's Unwavering Commitment to Resistance and Non-Forgetting of US-Israeli Crimes

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi affirmed his country's steadfastness against all pressures, reiterating its unwavering commitment to the principle of resistance and vowing not to forget what he termed "American and Israeli crimes" against it. Speaking at the opening of the "Muharram and Ashura in the Mirror of Foreign Ministry Documents" event, Araghchi highlighted that this year's observance of Muharram and Ashura in Iran holds particular significance. He noted that the nation has been subjected to "brutal aggression" from the United States and the Zionist entity, having sacrificed "martyrs for freedom and dignity." He emphasized that a nation's value and courage throughout history are not measured by its pursuit of hegemony, but by its willingness to sacrifice for freedom, justice, and human dignity. The "school of the Master of Martyrs" taught them that "death with dignity is more honorable than life in humiliation," as abandoning independence destroys collective identity and national will. Based on this firm ideological and strategic conviction, Araghchi asserted that the Islamic Republic of Iran stands tall against all challenges, remaining committed to its covenant of resistance. He further stated their unwavering pledge "with the great martyr leader Ayatollah Khamenei," affirming Iran "will not forget the enemy's crimes nor ignore the unjustly shed blood." Araghchi concluded by stressing that Iran's intellectual heritage posits "death with dignity is more honorable than life in humiliation," defining this as the eternal wisdom of resistance.
