Araghchi Informs Iranian Cabinet of U.S. Proposal to End War

A government spokesperson announced that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi informed the cabinet about receiving a U.S. proposal aimed at reaching an agreement to end the war. A source familiar with the talks stated that Araghchi and his team met with Qatari mediators in Doha on Tuesday evening, where they received Washington’s response to a seven-day proposal, which will be discussed in Tehran on Wednesday. The source added that the document under negotiation outlines a week-long plan to build trust and return to an enhanced version of the memorandum of understanding signed by the U.S. and Iran in June.
